Welcome to the Sierra Nevada Region online registration for our annual Conference, to be held at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, April 24-26, 2020.
Governor Elect Sarah (also our conference coordinator) and I have been hard at work to create a fun and informative conference experience for you. We are starting out on Friday night celebrating the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment and I thought it would be fun for everyone to honor the suffragettes by wearing white! That can mean anything from wearing a white blouse to full on suffragette costume! Help us celebrate their hard work by participating. We know the passage of the 19th amendment helped empower the women that started our great organization one year later. Imagine how united we will look!!
The rest of the weekend details can be found in the CALL to Conference. We have some great speakers, workshops and awards to give out. Of course, we will have the traditional Celebration of Life to honor those members that have passed in the last year on Sunday morning and there will be plenty of shopping at the Marketplace all weekend long.
We do have a new registration site which will eliminate some of the fees that the region had to pay with the old site. It’s new to all of us, so be patient….
