Welcome to the 49^th Annual Sierra Nevada Region Conference registration.

On behalf of our Board and Leadership, it gives me great pleasure to hereby CALL you to the 49^th Annual Sierra Nevada Region Spring Conference at the Atlantis Spa & Resort in Reno, NV, June 6 – 8, 2025. It’s time to celebrate our accomplishments this year towards reaching our Big Goal of serving women and girls in our communities and throughout the world.

We have been working hard to bring you a weekend of showcasing how we, as Soroptimists, do life-changing, meaningful work in an atmosphere of friendship and fun. Our theme of “Making Dreams Soar” will be brought to life through our speakers, activities, awards, and recognition of the fabulous members of our Sierra Nevada Region and Soroptimist International of the Americas.

We are thrilled to announce that SIA President Ginger Cole will be the SIA Official Visitor to our conference. Speaking on Thriving through Change.  Additionally, she’ll speak to us about Embracing Change, Celebrating Success and Committing to Inclusivity: A Call to Action for Soroptimists. Meet President Ginger at our Friday evening social hour.

Throughout the weekend we’ll celebrate S.O.L.T. / Evelyn Holland, 5 Star Public Awareness, Blanche Edgar and SNR Soroptimist Celebrating Success Awards for clubs, as well as our SNR Ruby Award and Region Live Your Dream Award recipients. You’ll see how We Are Who We Say We Are and Do What We Say We Do in the Sierra Nevada Region by improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. On Sunday morning, please join us for a heartwarming presentation, Celebration of Life, an SNR tradition that honors the remarkable members of SNR who have passed away since last year.

Following conducting the business of the Region by voting on Bylaw Amendments and Elections, another big celebration will be the installation of the incoming 2025-2027 Nominating Committee on Saturday night. We will also hear from a special guest speaker, Jenna McKaye, and her book, Grit to Grace, A Journey of Resilience.

We’ll have our Marketplace open throughout the weekend, home to a variety of Soroptimist branded items sold by clubs, fashion items and jewelry, and informational exhibitors. We’ll have Break Out Workshops on: Meet the Candidates and Delegate Briefing. We’ll also have Basket and 50/50 Raffles, our Social Media Contest and much more to leave you enlightened, inspired, and entertained.

We hope that you enjoy our Region’s Annual Spring Conference as much as we enjoy organizing it for you.
